Premier Behavioral Health Day Treatment Program & Center for Children in Fort Smith, Arkansas

Valley Behavioral Health helps individuals struggling with mental health and behavioral health disorders meet and exceed their treatment goals while building a strong foundation for long-term healing and recovery through a variety of programming options.

About Our Program

Valley Behavioral Health System in Fort Smith, Arkansas, offers a therapeutic day treatment program that provides education coupled with mental health services in a therapeutic environment. This school-based program is for students grades K-12, who have mental, emotional, and behavioral problems that prevent them from not being able to function in a traditional school setting. At our treatment center, we believe that we have the ability to positively impact at-risk children before more intensive treatment services are needed. Both the child’s parents and school are vital partners in this program and are involved throughout the whole treatment process. All credits received in this program are fully transferable, which helps to ensure patients don’t fall behind with their education.
