Valley Behavioral Health System offers a residential treatment program for children ages 3-18. This program offers long-term services for children and adolescents who are suffering from mental, emotional, and behavioral problems. We strive to provide these children with a safe and caring environment while they work towards healing. The children are monitored 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; so not only is their safety ensured, but they also have access to qualified mental health professionals at all hours of the day and night if they find themselves needing someone to talk to because of something that they are struggling with.
While in our residential program, each and every child attends school daily as part of his or her treatment process. All of the academic credits that they acquire while with us will automatically transfer to their local school district. The children in our program are seen weekly by a doctor or nurse practitioner for medication management and wellness checks.
The therapeutic aspects of our residential program include:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
